Welcome to the Shepherd High School Royal Guard!!
The Royal Guard performs as part of the Shepherd High School Royal Blue Band and its membership is comprised of both band students and non-band students. The Royal Guard performs at all varsity football games, marching contests and parades in the fall semester and stays extremely active in the spring as well competing in the Texas Color Guard Circuit.
The Royal Guard is an extremely competitive extension of the Royal Blue Band and has consistently won "Outstanding Guard" honors in class 4A, and is a former state champion in TCGC competition.
Membership is by audition only, but is open to any current Shepherd High School Student. Students interested in joining the Royal Guard should see Ms. Durden in the SHS Band Hall for audition information.
